Athletes career transition: Same, same, but different – Anne-Sophie Thilo

Communications specialist and EKKUT sàrl founder Anne-Sophie Thilo is proof that sometimes the end is really just the beginning. After representing Switzerland in sailing at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, Thilo went on to obtain a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Communication Sciences as well as a MAS in Sport Administration and Technology, before creating her own communication consulting company. She comes to #SportWorkTALKS to shift the narrative surrounding a dual career and to share her blueprint for a successful transition.

Tune in to find out why she describes athlete transition as moving from one job to the next and why the academic background should be considered an integral part of the performance.
